No more unwanted calls! BlackList application automatically rejects any unwelcomed call. The program is fully customizeable and easy to use. There are custom rules that can contain persons from contacts, groups of persons from contacts, custom phone numbers, there are selective situations, tight interaction with Contacts, handy log, etc, etc...

How to get started

There are 3 top views in the program: Status view, Rules view, and Rejected calls history view. You can switch between them with joystick left/right.



Status view

In this view you can turn BlackList on or off. If BlackList is off it doesn't block any calls.

When turned on you can see how many incoming calls you've had and how many of them were rejected by BlackList application.

Note: You can close BlackList application at any time, but if it's activated it will work in the background anyway. To stop the program completely you should deactivate it before closing



Rejected calls history View

Here you can see BlackList activity. In this view you can see what calls were rejected and when. The calls are sorted by time of the call in descending order. It means that the most recent calls are displayed on the top of the list.



Rules view
(Application customization)

Here you can fully customize your BlackList. There are two types of rules. You can activate only one of them.

Black list: Here you can define the list of correspondents you don't want to answer. If this rule is activated and someone from this list is calling, BlackList application will automatically decline this call.

Accept only list: Here you can define the list of correspondents you want to accept calls from only. If this rule is activated and you're called by somebody not from this list of correspondents this call will be automatically rejected.

What's "situations"? We understand that you may have more than one rule set. And use one, for example, when you're on vacations, another one for working days, etc. It's not easy for you to refill black list always with different sets of correspondents. That's why we have added "situations".

Each situation can have its own list! So you can switch between the whole group of your defined correspondents easily. The name of currently activated situation is displayed in the application's title.



Correspondents list

When setting up the rules (black list or accept only list) you should fill them in with correspondents. You can use person(s) selected from Contacts application, groups of persons from Contacts and/or custom phone numbers as a correspondent.

FoxyTest v1.3

FoxyTest is an application that will check your mobile phone compatibility with FoxyTag. FoxyTag uses any Bluetooth enabled GPS to track your position and to inform you about radars on the road. This test MIDlet will check the Java API for Bluetooth (JSR82) and Internet (GPRS) connection.



FoxyTag v0.4.2

The idea consists in posting virtual tags close to radars in order to warn other drivers. These users will then get an alarm when they are closer than 15 seconds to a critical point, and a red point locating the radar appears on their screen. You can signal a radar by pressing the key "1" of your mobile phone and signal that a radar disappeared (you get an alarm but you do not see any speed camera) by pressing "0". You are also invited to signal radars that are already tagged; by confirming their presence, you create trust link with other users and get more reliable information. The system excludes automatically users that do not vote "like the others". Roughly speaking, the more you participate, the more the information you get is reliable. FoxyTag is a "collaborative" system. Tags posted by FoxyTag are directional. So, tags posted for users driving in the opposite direction won't be signalized to you. Fix or mobile speed cameras are treated the same way.

FoxyTag does not motivate speeding or any other risky behavior. On the other hand, FoxyTag allows the driver to concentrate on the road instead of having is eyes fixed on the speedometer, for fear of being flashed. We observe that drivers tend to brake suddenly when they see a radar (even if they are not too fast), which can provoke traffic jams or even accidents. FoxyTag signals in advance the presence of speed cameras, so that the driver has sufficiently time to check its speed and adapt it if necessarily.
